Michael Grainger

GRAINGER, Michael James – Passed away peacefully on January 1, 2024 at Providence Manor, Kingston, Ontario in his 85 year.  Dearly missed by his wife Patricia of 59 years, his children Kelly (Doug), Mark, and Stephen (Tamara), his grandchildren Lucas, Nathan and predeceased by Sutton. Dear brother of Theresa Noonan and Father John Grainger.  Brother-in-law of Shelagh Grainger, Catherine (Cecil) Rice and Noreen D'eon. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Irene (Gallo) Grainger, siblings Carmel Grainger, Alice Jaquith (late Paul), Margaret Stout (late Gordon), Andrew Grainger and brothers-in-law Gerry Noonan, Michael Kelly (late Eldene) and Philippe D’Eon.  Survived by many nieces and nephews.

Farm, Family and Faith: these were Mike’s values that guided him through life.  He led by example through his passion for his community and committees.  Mike worked hard and never complained about anything despite the many challenges he faced.  He had a positive outlook on life, was a friend to all and will be remembered fondly.

Family and friends will be received at TROUSDALE FUNERAL HOME on Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.  Mass of Christian burial on Friday, January 5, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., in St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 3977 Sydenham Road, Railton, Ontario.  Rite of committal with prayers at St. Patrick’s Church Cemetery.  Donations may be made to St. Patrick’s Church, Railton.
