Michelle Lynn Gibson

Michelle Lynn Gibson, beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 7th, 2024 in Napanee, ON. Born on July 19th, 1968 in Bangor, Maine to Rev. David and Merlene Spurrell. Michelle's departure has left a void that can never be filled.

Michelle was a devoted mother to her daughter Faith Jasmine McLeod and a loving sister to Rhonda Spurrell and Shawna Hicks (Barry). She adored her niece Meredith and nephews Barry and Nicholas. Her family meant everything to her; she cherished every moment spent with them.

Throughout her life, Michelle had an unwavering faith in Jesus Christ which brought comfort not only to herself but also those around her. Her kindness knew no bounds as she dedicated herself to caring for the elderly with compassion and joy. Her selflessness touched the lives of many as she provided comfort and support during their most vulnerable moments.

Music flowed through Michelle's veins; she possessed a beautiful soprano voice that could move even the coldest hearts. Whether singing hymns at church or lullabies for loved ones - music was an integral part of who she was.

Her passing leaves behind countless memories of laughter shared with friends over meals or long walks under the stars. The impact of her absence will be felt deeply by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.

A celebration of life will be held in the spring for family and friends where they will gather together to honor Michelle's memory while finding solace in each other's company.

As we mourn our loss here on earth, we take comfort knowing that Michelle is now reunited with her Savior Jesus Christ – finally at peace within His embrace.

Rest well dear Michelle; your legacy lives on through those whose lives you've touched.
