It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Connie, 81, on November 23, 2017.  She will be deeply missed by her children, Larry, Debbie (Larry Carr), and David (Andrea) and her four grandchildren, Keenya (Joe Auberger), Lindsay (Luke Bellinger), Charlayne (Blair Donaldson) and Ben Harris. Great Nanny to, Ryleigh, Abigail, and Brianna Auberger, Esmè Bellinger, Maxwell and Owen Donaldson. Loving sister of Lois (Eric) McCartney, Norma (late Everard) Johnston, Ronnie (Pat) Tinkess, Perry (Carolyn) Tinkess and Penny (Dan) MacNaughton. Fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews, in-laws and numerous close friends.

Predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Harold, on March 23, 2017.

Connie was a compassionate woman who was well loved by many friends and colleagues, who benefited from her positive outlook and her charitable nature. She was involved in many volunteer groups and charitable organizations over the years, such as Cub Scouts, The Lung Association, and the Soup Truck, as well as being a long-standing member the U.C.W and Women’s Institute. She was also involved in innumerable church groups and events at Glenburnie United Church, Kingscourt United Church and Edith Rankin Memorial United Church.

Cremation has taken place. Funeral Service will be held at Glenburnie United Church on Saturday December 9 at 1pm. Everyone is welcome to join the family for light refreshments and fellowship following the service.

Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Connie's name.
