McLAY, David H. 
January 13, 1944 – July 08, 2018
With family by his side, Dave passed away peacefully into God’s loving hands at Kingston General Hospital on Sunday July 8, 2018. 
Dave will be deeply missed by his wife Suzanne of 53 years. He truly loved his time with family and is the very proud Father and Grandfather of Dave, Lynn, Ryan and Sydney, Jay, Darlene, Ayden, Ashlee and Alyssa, Rory, Talia, Ayla and Ryder. 
Previously deceased by parents David Charles McLay and Edith Pearl McLay, sister MaryAnne Mason and Pat Campbell, 
surviving sister Janet Ireland (husband Roy Ireland) and brother Danny McLay (wife Monica McLay). 
Always known to enjoy a good laugh with family and friends, he had fun with the Men’s League golf at Rivendell, fishing and hunting, 
during his time in Florida and with his brothers of 50 years at the Masonic Lodge.  
A celebration of life will be held from 6-9 pm on Saturday, July 21, 2018 upstairs at Rivendell Golf Club, light snacks will be served. 
A special toast to Dave will be offered at 7:00 pm.  
Special thanks to Dr. D’Arsigny and her fantastic team and for the outstanding care and support provided by the nursing staff at the ICU at KGH. 
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army, the Ontario Lung Association, or the Canadian Cancer Society.
