HANDFORTH, Derek Benjamin
December 23, 1928 – April 14, 2018

 It is with broken hearts that Janine (Henry Posthumus), Chris and Laurie announce the passing of their beloved father Derek at KHSC (KGH) on April 14, 2018 due to complications from a fall.
 
Dad now rejoins his beloved Audrey (2007) to Waltz across the Heavens.

Survived by daughters Janine (Henry Posthumus), Laurie and son Chris; sister-in-laws Rosaleen (late Don) and family, Barbara (Jack Willoughby) and family. Family in England, brothers Ron (late Maureen), and Alfred (Margaret) and their families.

Predeceased by infant daughter Trish, brother-in-law Charles, brothers John (late Joan), and Ben (late Joyce). Survived by numerous nieces and nephews, on Ben & Joyce’s side, all of England.

 Family and friends will be received at the TROUSDALE FUNERAL HOME on Thursday, April 19, 2018 between the hours of 1-3 and 6-8pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018, 11am at the Trousdale Funeral Home, with visiting from 10am until time of service, a reception will follow the service at the funeral, with interment to follow at Harrowsmith Cemetery.
 In lieu of flowers donations to the Kingston Literacy and Skills, Heart and Stroke or Charity of Choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
