Unexpectedly at home as the result of a machinery accident on June 19, 2019 at the age of 90 years.  Don is predeceased by his wife Gertie (1990) and survived by companion Charlotte.  Proud and loving father to Judy Albertson Murphy (Richard), Joan Tebo (Kevin), Jean Spahmann (Peter), Jane Abrams ( Russell), Jill Curtis (David), Joye Bannab (Bob) and predeceased by son John (1987) (Karen).   Grandchildren Steve Albertson, Ian  Albertson,  Julie Albertson, Amy Tebo, Amanda Oscadzuk, Sabina Spahmann, Christa Spahmann (predeceased) 2010, Sarah MacKenzie, John MacKenzie, Steven Piffl, Mike Curtis, Dayton Bannab , 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great on the way.  Survived by siblings Bernice Day, Alice Clarke, Les Abrams and predeceased by brothers Ralph and Lyle.   Family and friends will be received at the Harrowsmith Free Methodist Church,  3876 Harrowsmith Road, Harrowsmith, Ontario, on Sunday, June 23, 2019 between the hours of  5 p.m.  to  8 p.m. and  Monday, June 24, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with service to follow at 1 p.m.   Interment at Desert Lake Cemetery.  For those who wish:  memorial donation may be made to the Harrowsmith Free Methodist Church or the charity of your choice in memory of Don.
