LEE, Kenneth Lloyd “Cap”

January 16, 1930 – September 5, 2019

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our Dad, Grandfather (more affectionately known as “the Gramps”), and Great Grandfather in his 90th year at Kingston Health Science Centre.  He is predeceased by his wife of 63 years Alfreda (2013) and son Harry.  Cherished father of Karen Andrews (Wayne), Kevin (Margie), and daughter-in-law Linda Lee.  Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Angie Hammond (Darren), Kurt Lee (Kelly), Derek Andrews (Sarah), Deb Roney (James), Davin Lee (Ardelle Viau), Brittany Hicks (Brenden), eleven great grandchildren and a very dear and devoted friend Barb Garrison.

Survived by his sister Lois Taylor of Niagara Falls, sister-in-law Muriel Lee of Gananoque, brother-in-law Art Gilmour of Odessa and brother -in-law Tom Fish (Dorothy).  Predeceased by brothers Don and Harold and sisters Bernice and Doreen.

Ken will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

Ken was born and raised in the village of Sydenham and remained a resident of Sydenham until his passing.  We will always remember “Cap” with that special smile and that warm embrace he so freely gave.

Friends and Family will be received at the TROUSDALE FUNERAL HOME in Sydenham, on Sunday, September 8, 2019 between the hours of 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel on Monday, September 9, 2019 at 11 a.m.  The Reverend Janice MacPhail officiating.  Interment to follow at the Sydenham Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Southern Frontenac Community Services in Ken’s memory.
