RICHARDS, Lorne Alfred (Buzz)
1927 – 2019
It is with much sadness that we announce that on September 26, 2019, in his 92nd year, Buzz passed away at Fairmount Home.
Loving father of Linda Paul (late Mel) and Michael Richards. Proud grandfather of Craig Paul (Patricia), Mike Paul (Lee-Anne) and Sherri Pynenburg (Jason).

Caring great-grandfather to Jack, Morgan and Henry Paul; Rylie and Madelyn Paul and Sofie Pynenburg. Predeceased by his wife of 64 years Muriel (Lutes), his parents Louis and Myrtle (Crandall) Richards and his sisters Betty and Johanna.
Born in Moncton, New Brunswick, Buzz served with the Armed Force and was a proud Korean War veteran and served in the UN Egypt regular army. He was a Commissionaire at the Royal Military College for 25 years after retiring from the army and was named an Honorary graduate of RMC, class of 1991. He also was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 560.

Special and grateful thanks to Fairmount Home and all the staff who cared for him, providing the attention and companionship he appreciated. As per his wishes, cremation will be followed by a private burial at Sandhill Cemetery, Battersea. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the charity of your choice in his memory.
