1916 - 2018
Peacefully at the John M. Parrott Centre, Napanee, ON,  in her 103rd year, on Tuesday, October 2, 2018.

Beloved wife of the late Lawrence Steele, and Elmer “Scotty” Kerr. Dear mother of Robert Steele (Wanda), and Rick Steele (Maureen Merkley), cherished grandmother of Larry Steele, Robert Steele, and Marcy Steele, great grandmother of Hannah Grace, Jacob, and Victoria, great great grandmother of Annabelle and Marley. Predeceased by 2 sisters and 7 brothers. Always remembered and sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews other family and friends. Vena was a long time member of the Anglican Church Women’s Institute.   At the request of Vena there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A family burial will take place at Mountain Grove Anglican Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to a Food Bank of your Choice, as Vena was always concerned about everyone being fed.
