STOTT, Alan D.

1930 - 2017

Suddenly at home on October 30th, in his 88th year, Alan succumbed to a prolonged illness. Survived by his beloved wife Jean of 62 years, children; Lesley (Jack), Barry (Tamy), Ian (Kathy). Dearly missed by grandchildren; Andrew, Ethan, Lucas, Sylken, Emma and Kittina. Alan brought his family from England in 1975 for a lengthy career at Northern Electric. Had a membership with the Masonic Lodge, the Royal Canadian Legion #496. As well as enjoying classical music, he had a passion for acting, directing and producing plays in the theatre. Alan and Jean were also members of the Canuck Club where they enjoyed ballroom dancing. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at the TROUSDALE FUNERAL HOME in Sydenham, on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 between 10-11am, a Memorial Service will be held in the chapel at 11am. As Alan’s wishes donations will be accepted for the Domino Theatre or Sydenham Legion Branch #496.
