Dowker, Alfreda “Marie” (Nee VanCoughnett)

July 31, 1936 - January 19, 2025

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Alfreda “Marie” Dowker on January 19,2025.  Marie passed away peacefully at home in her 89th year.

Beloved wife of 70 years to Robert Dowker, cherished mother of David Dowker, Teresa Dowker and Karen Kremer (Dale).  Loving grandmother of Natalie Kremer and Nicole Kremer.

Predeceased by her parents Russell and Muriel VanCoughnett and her son Paul Dowker.

Marie was a gentle, kind and compassionate soul who will live on in our hearts forever.

As per her wishes cremation has taken place and a private family burial will take place at a later date.

For those wishing, donations may be made to the Kingston Humane Society in memory of Marie.
