Allen David Shaw

It is with great sadness that the family of Allen (Al) Shaw age 73, announce his sudden passing on January 31, 2023.  Al is survived and will be missed by his wife Sandra, children Mel and Susan and grandchildren Juli and Becky.

Those who knew Al, knew his love for playing base or the base fiddle with his bluegrass band or just jamming with his family and friends.  He loved camping, was an avid fisherman (or so he thought) and enjoyed his yearly hunting trips with good friends and the best of family.  He always spent time taking long bike rides, having visits with friends, or simply relaxing at the trailer with a good book!  He loved his wife dearly, his children and twin granddaughters and he is survived by 1 brother, 2 sisters and many nieces and nephews.  

The family is planning a grave side memorial to held in the spring in Bowling Brooke.  More details will follow.
