Obituary
Andrew (Andy) Boozan
August 21, 1949 – September 7, 2023
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Andrew (Andy) Boozan on September 7, 2023, at home surrounded by his family.
A devoted husband of 56 years, Andy is survived by his loving wife Yvonne, and his cherished daughter Dieneen (Chris), his beloved grandchildren Jake and Jessica and his honorary daughter Jenni.
Born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, Andy's life was marked by compassion, strength, and an enduring love for his family. He embraced life's challenges with unwavering determination, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him.
A true sports enthusiast, Andy had a lifelong passion for all things sports. His enthusiasm was infectious, both as a player and a spectator.
In honor of Andy's memory and wishes, there will be no funeral service.
The family kindly request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, reflecting Andy's desire to contribute to the fight against cancer.
The family would like to extend our gratitude to the exceptional people at the KGH Cancer Center and the remarkable people at St Elizabeth Heath. The care and compassion received was beyond reproach.
Though Andy is no longer with us, his love and the memories of his laughter and passion will continue to inspire and guide us
