We are sad to announce the passing of Anna Russell of Battersea. Anna succumbed to her many continued physical ailments, but ultimately to a broken heart following the death of her beloved Glenn Leeman only a month ago.

Anna, always a Toronto girl at heart, was well read, eloquent and an active listener. Known for her quick wit, sense of humour and passion for justice in the world, she leaves to mourn her adopted Leeman family, friends in South Frontenac, [especially the Battersea area,] and the City of Kingston Employees.

Special thanks to the competent, compassionate care of the Kingston General Hospital staff of KIDD2, I.C.U.

Interment, and a prayer service will be held Saturday November 20th ,11 A.M., at St Patrick’s Cemetery, Railton. In lieu of donations, please initiate a random act of kindness to a stranger in Anna’s memory such as ‘Pay it Forward’ even at Tim’s. Tell them Anna sent you!
