Astrida Valkirs Obituary

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Astrida Inara Valkirs on November 28, 2022, at Helen Henderson Care Centre at the age of 92. Ina was predeceased by her loving husband Oswald Valkirs.

Ina was a retired nurse from Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto. She was much loved and will be fondly remembered by her neighbour's and friends.

Thank you to the nurses at Helen Henderson for their wonderful care.

A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at 11 a.m. at the Sydenham Cemetery, 4371 Church Street, Sydenham, ON.

Ina loved her German Shepherd dogs. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Kingston Humane Society.
