1942 – 2020

Retired Bus Driver, Watson’s Bus Lines

Peacefully at her home in Sydenham on March 25, 2020 at the age of 77 years.  Predeceased by her soul mate of 50 years Douglas (2012).  Loving mother to Teresa, Lauralee (Keith), predeceased by her son Tommy.   Devote nanny to Sarah, Stacy, Terri-Michelle, Tessa, Chris, CJ, Shawna and predeceased by grandchildren Scotty and Candus.  Great nanny to seven great grandchildren.  Survived by her siblings Sandra VanLuven (Reg), Lenard Carr (Sandra) and predeceased by Burton Carr (June).  Due to present circumstances; funeral service at this time will be private for family only.  Doreen’s interment will take place at Harrowsmith Cemetery.  A celebration of life be held at a later date, to be advised.  For those wishing a donation may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Doreen's Memory.
