Beverly (Drummond) McDonald

It is with heartfelt sadness that we say goodbye to Beverly (Bev) McDonald, who passed away peacefully at her residence in Arbour Heights on Saturday August 6, 2022.  Bev suffered from COPD for more than 20 years, and we are all so fortunate that her determination and love of life kept her with us for as long as it did.  

Bev will be greatly missed by her husband William (Bill) McDonald, and her children Will McDonald (Lesley), Robert McDonald (Lori), David McDonald, and Susie McDonald (Krystal). Her grandchildren, Kaeli, Tylar, Jakob, Quinton, Mason, Spencer, Neve, and Ty will cherish their fond memories of family dinners and many, many card and games nights. 

Predeceased by her parents William and Dorothy Drummond, and brothers Billy and Blaine Drummond, Bev will always hold a special place in the hearts and memories of her siblings Diane Weins (Bob), Danny Drummond (Lucy), Rhonda Drummond (Tony Naphin), sister-in-laws Carmen and Colleen , as well as numerous extended family members and friends, both old and new.

A special thanks to all of the wonderful and caring staff at Arbour Heights Nursing Home for taking such great care of Bev…even though she may have been the number one “trouble maker”. 

Family and friends and invited to attend a service and interment to be held at the Glenhaven Memorial Gardens at 10:00 am on Friday August 12, 2022.  A reception at Bev’s daughter’s home at 4300 Unity Rd, Odessa, will follow the service, and everyone is welcome to join the family for lunch and the sharing of memories.
