WOOD, Carol Jean (née Lines)

Carol passed away peacefully at her care home in Kingston on May 30, 2023, at the age of 93.

 She was predeceased by her loving husband of fifty-four years, Gilbert. Dear mother of Bob (Sue), Ron and Sandy. Sadly missed by her five granddaughters: Jennifer, Cheryll, Allison, Vicki and Pamela and her seven great-grandchildren.

 Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her siblings George, Marion, Jack, Alice and Evelyn, as well as Gib's four brothers and their wives.

It's the end of an era.

Carol was an active senior who, after retirement, enjoyed golf, bridge, breeding Golden Retrievers and volunteering at the local library in Arundel. Once resettled in Kingston Carol was active in the Newcomers Club and later in life discovered the joys of travel. She will be missed by those friends she met during these pursuits.

A celebration of life and inurnment will be held in Arundel, QC at a later date.
