Kate was a strong, loving, caring and generous individual who took great pride in her home on Desert Lake Road. She loved animals and enjoyed gardening. Kate unconditionally accepted children into her home for 35 years as a Foster Parent for the Children's Aid Society for Kingston and the County of Frontenac.  During this time, Kate and Web cared for more than 100 children.  Kate was an active member of St. Patrick's Church and the Catholic Women's League.

Rest in Peace Mom, Gram, Great Gram.  It is now your time to rest.  Lovingly remembered.

David, Kevin, Michael, and families.

The Stewarts wish to send our condolences to the Tebo family on the passing of your mum.  Although it's been years since I lived in the area, I do hear about all the goings-on in the area and I was saddened to hear of Kate's death from my own elderly mum.  Your parents and mine enjoyed a lifetime of laughs and good fun at baseball games, euchre at the community hall, fish fries, you name it.

As you well know, your mother's capacity for kindness and sincerity was beyond description.  Just a fine person!  I was always so amazed at how your mum and dad welcomed the dozens and dozens of CAS foster children into your family home where they were cared for and loved unconditionally.  Under your mum's care, they got just what they needed!

Favorite memories include saying hello to Kate when our paths crossed while I was home for family visits and her ability to keep Web on the straight and narrow when telling one of those many hilariously funny stories, jokes, or one-liners of his.  All that Kate had to say was, "Oh, Web!!".... and that ensured a family rating was intact for younger ears.

I have fond memories of such a great lady (and couple) that will last me a lifetime!  You boys did a great job raising such quality parents!

Again, our sincere condolences to you and yours.

To the Tebo families. The Stewarts wish to convey our sincere condolences on the passing of Kate.

All who met your mum immediately learned of her kind heart and gentle ways.  I first met her as a child in the very early 1970s.  Although I've long since moved away from the area, Kate left a lasting impression on me during those formative years as she no doubt did on many people.  As an adult, it was always so nice to say hello to her when paths corssed again during family visits home.

My parents enjoyed a lifelong friendship with Kate and Web that was punctuated with  hours of good humour, joke telling, baseball games, euchre at the community hall and much more.  Anyone who engaged in a conversation with Kate and Web of course got to hear one of your dad's great one-liners and your mum's inevitable, "Oh, Web!!" as she did her part to ensure a family rating was intact.

I remember clearly, the scores of CAS children who were welcomed into your family home for decades and how they were loved and cared for by your mum and your dad.

It was her service to others that l will remember about your mum!  Again, our sincere condolences to you and your families from the Stewarts.

My condolences to all the family of Kate Tebo. I remember her and Web fondly as a child. I was fortunate enough to see her frequently when she moved into the apartments in Sydenham. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. RIP Kate. I know there’s a special place for you.
