CAIRD, Charlie Lavern

Peacefully with family by his side at Kingston General Hospital, November 2, 2017, at the age of 74, born May 24, 1943. Loving husband of 51 years to Lynn (nee Young). Loving father of Lisa O’Neill (Tim), Christine Ryan (Rob), Colleen Bencze (Jeff). Never forgotten by his grandchildren Elisha, Brooklyn and Gracie, Blake and Charlize. Charlie is survived by his sister Olga Young (late Carl), Karen Young (Doug), and Larry (Elaine). Charlie will be reunited with his parents Lorne and Erma, sister Opal Campbell, brothers Junior, Wendell and Bruce. Remembered by his extended family, in-laws, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Doctors, Nurses, and other staff of Kidd 9 and Connell 10 at KGH, as well as the paramedics. A Memorial Service will be held at the Perth Road United Church on Thursday, November 9th at 11am, followed by a Celebration of Life at the Perth Road Hall.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Perth Road United Church or South Frontenac Firefighters Association, would be gratefully acknowledged by Charlie’s family.
