David Allen McNish

David Allen McNish passed away peacefully on October 18th, 2025

He took pride in his various pursuits: 3 terms on Pittsburgh Township Council, 14 years at Invista, 18 passionate years as a volunteer firefighter, as well as decades at the family business Roy’s Pet Shop.

                Lovingly remembered by Nancy, Shannon (Randy), Mandy (Mike), Mark (Tori), Samantha (Max), Thomas, Amelia and Kiersten. Loved by his parents Barbara and Roy, his siblings Brian (Cathy), Gary (Lynne), sister-in-law Dolores, and his late brother Steven. David truly Cherished his lifelong friendships and valued making new friends.

                Anyone wishing to donate in David’s memory may do so by donating to Perth Road Fire Fighters Association.

                Help us celebrate David’s life with a casual visitation on Thursday, October 23rd, 6 pm to 8 pm and Friday, October 24th, 4 pm to 8 pm at Trousdale Funeral Home in Sydenham, ON.
