Donald MacMillan

Peacefully at Fairmount Home on Friday, July 22, 2022 at the age of 98.  Don was born in Oshawa, Ontario on May 19, 1924.  Predeceased by his loving wife of 63 years Gladys MacMillan (nee Wood) and by his wife of 4 years, Elizabeth (Betty) MacMillan (nee Cousineau) and siblings John, Mae and Gordon.  Don leaves behind his children, Roy (Audrey), Alan (Cynthia) and Lee (Ron Laurin), grandchildren Adam, Jim (Dena), Jennifer and Katie (Michael), and great granddaughter Zara.  In keeping with Don’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  A private family interment of Don’s and Gladys’s cremated remains will take place at Mount Lawn Cemetery.  

The family appreciates the love, support and amazing care by all the fantastic staff at Fairmount Home and The Rosewood Retirement Residence.  Donations may be made to Fairmount Home’s general fund to support the comfort of residents.
