Donald Willard Ritchie

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Donald Willard Ritchie, in his 97th year on December 18, 2023. 

Don passed peacefully at Napanee Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was the devoted husband of 72 years to Doris (Reynolds), loving father of Jocelyn Young (Bernie), Andrew (Lisa) and Stanley (Ellie), grandfather of seven, great grandfather of thirteen, great, great grandfather of four. Predeceased by parents Milton and Catherine (Leveque) Ritchie, brothers Vincent (Muriel) and Glen. Don will be sadly missed by his family and the Bell Rock community, where he resided most of his life. Appreciation to Lisa Ritchie for the loving care she provided in the last months of Don's life. The family wishes to thank the compassionate staff in the ICU at the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital and Verona Medical Centre. Donations are being accepted for South Frontenac Community Services. Graveside ceremony at Verona Cemetery, Friday, December 22,2023 11:00 am. All welcome.
