Donald White

It is with profound sadness, we announce the passing of Donald Emerson White, in his 93rd yr on Sept. 15th, 2024. He was lovingly cared for at Carveth Care Centre in Gananoque during a long illness. 

   He will be lovingly remembered by his family and sadly missed by his many children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great grandchild. 

   Don was a charming man with a big heart, who lived life to the fullest with hard work, strong will, determination, stubbornness and a great sense of humour. He had many occupations throughout his life starting as a chef in the military, a truck driver, a farmer, a construction superintendent and factory worker. His favourite hobbies were auctions, antiques, woodworking and carpentry. Favourite activity was watching Toronto Blue Jay games and wrestling. His large circle of friends are invited to raise a glass in his memory. 

    In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place with no service per his request. Private family remembrances only. 

  In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Cancer Society and Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated.
