Doris (Heath) Martin

Marion (Doris) Martin (nee Heath) passed away on September 15, 2022 while surrounded by her family at the age of 83, after living with Alzheimer’s. Beloved wife and soul mate since May of 1959 to Peter Martin (predeceased). Marion was the best mother you could ask for to Sharry Martin (Jo), Shane Lewis (Bill) and Mitch Martin (Kathy). She will be greatly missed by grandchildren Ted (Elaine), Ben, Samantha, Jack and Jamie as well as great grandchildren Milo, Daisy, Audrey and Gwen. Predeceased by her parents Tom and Grace Heath. Siblings Ron (Deloris), Larry (Connie), Paul (Kathy) and predeceased Lynn (Lucille). Loving sister-in-law to Donna (Paul - predeased), Terry (Jill) and Susan (Rick). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. We will all bask in the beautiful light that Marion brought to our lives.

Our family wishes to extend a special thank you as we will be forever indebted to the kind souls that work at Providence Manor who have so lovingly taken care of our dear Marion. We appreciate you and we thank you for the comfort, love and support.

We can only hope to emulate Marion’s love of family, her love of music, her witty humour, her selflessness and infectious smile as we move forward with the fondest of memories.

Visitation to be held at Trousdale Funeral Home (4374 Sydenham Mill St. Sydenham, ON) on Saturday October 1st at 10am followed by Service at 11am. Internment at Sydenham Cemetery after the Service for both Peter and Marion Martin. Refreshments to follow.
