                                  March 10, 1938 – August 6, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eleanor Margaret Smith  (The Old Goat).  Eleanor passed away peacefully at Kingston Health Science Centre in the early hours of Sunday, August 6, 2023.  She will be deeply missed by her husband and best friend Neil Smith and granddaughter Riley Healey.  Loving sister to Donna Gough and Nick Bibby.  Best Auntie Eleanor to many nieces and nephews.  She is predeceased by her parents Joe and Estella Bibby and her son Terry Healey. 
In keeping with Eleanor’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  Family and friends will be received at Trousdale Funeral Home in Sydenham on Monday, August 14,  2023, between the hours of 11 am and 1 pm . A Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m in the funeral home chapel. Interment  will take place at Sandhill Cemetery.   Memorial donations may be made in memory of Eleanor to the  Sydenham Branch 496 Legion or the Sydenham Grace Centre - Adult Day Program.
