Eve Bates

Eve Bates – Passed away peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on April 16th, 2021, in her 83rd year. Loving Wife of Michael John Arthur Bates (deceased). She is survived by her loving family of Lisa (Daniel), Stephen (Laura), grandsons Matthew and Jack. She originally came from Staines in the UK and settled in Canada. She spent most of her working life in retail at Boots, the chemist, before retiring, but she was also a junior school dinner lady. She enjoyed gardening, go on walks, reading and travelling with Michael. She loved owls, from watching them in the wild to seeing them at the Hawk Conservancy Trust, of which she used to be a member.
