Passed away peacefully at Kingston General Hospital on June 04, 2024 in his 85th year.

Beloved husband of Jean (Mouck) McIlroy; Dear father of Willie, Rogar and Renee, Johnny, Terry and Donna, Darryl, Kathy, Tom and Robin, Mark, Richard and Andrea.

Dear son of the late William Ivor McIlroy and Mary Ellen (McIlroy) Huffman. Dear grandfather to the late Sharon Reynolds.

Lovingly remembered by 17 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Gary was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors and who could do anything he put his mind to.

The family will be holding a celebration of life at a later date.

Visitation will take place from Saturday June 15, 2024 from 11 am to 12 pm at Trousdale Funeral Home in Sydenham, Funeral service to follow with Oscar Simpson officiating.
