George passed peacefully at home on September 2, 2019 at the age of 54.  Beloved husband of Joy Walker and father to Crystal Austin (Sam).  Step father to David Sparks (Linda), Sherry Sparks (Dwight), Rose-Marie (Andrew).  Loving grandfather to Bailey, Breanna, Jase, Nataleigh, Dakota, Dalton, Lorelei, Dayton, Mike, Kyle, Scyler and great grandfather of 4.  Son of the late Elmer and Bertha Austin.  Brother to Richard Austin (Sandra), Valerie Jackson (Ron), Rosemary Anderson (Dave), Jean Silver (Stan) and deceased brother Bernard Austin.  George will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  Family and friends will be received at the Golden Links Hall, 4186 Colebrook Road, Harrowsmith on Sunday, September 22, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a graveside service to follow at 5:00 p.m. at the Sydenham cemetery.  For anyone wishing donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Georges memory.
