George Donald DELPH
January 7, 1937 - April 25, 2020

George passed away at Providence Care Hospital with family by his side and surrounded by love on Saturday April 25, 2020. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 50 years Geraldine (nee Little) in 2016. Loving, cherished and greatly loved father to daughter Kimberly Delph-Thibault (Chris), son Arthur (Colleen) and predeceased by his daughters Sandra Murray (Rob) and Tracy Collett (Terry). George was a very proud and much loved papa to Connor and Ryan Collett, Matthew and Katie Murray, Isaac and Olivia Delph, Lori-Anne and Vincent Thibault. He will be greatly missed by his sister Barbara Billings as well as several nieces, nephews and great friends. Predeceased by his parents Francis and Arthur as well as his brothers Arthur and Ronald.

Throughout his illness, he always maintained his sense of humour and never failed to bring a smile to someone’s face. He will be greatly missed and loved forever. 
To the amazing people that cared for him, first a very special thank you to Dr. Leonie Herx and her wonderful team of nurses at KHSC for their amazing care, kindness and for giving us extra time to spend with him as well as a special thank you to the nurses and doctors at Providence Care Hospital Palliative Unit for your exceptional care, kindness and compassion in his final days. You are truly amazing people and we could not have asked for better care.
Cremation has taken place and will be followed by a family burial at a later date. A celebration of life will take place at a later date when it is safe to do so. In memory of George, donations can be made to Providence Care Hospital Palliative Unit.
