July 3, 1931 - March 16th, 2021 age 89

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved father, father-in-law, Grandpa, Great Grandpa, and friend.

George passed away peacefully at the KGH after a difficult battle with renal failure. George’s strength was inspiring to others. He could always put a smile on your face by telling one of his many jokes (some of which might not be appropriate for children). Anyone who has ever met George knew that he was a unique, one-of-a-kind man that was always willing to help anyone in time of need. George was a former body man who loved antique cars, especially Cadillac’s.

Forever loved and missed by his daughter Kim (Barry) and Son Shane (Liz). Proud Grandfather of Christianne, Ryan, Mahlina, and Jocelyn. Great Grandfather of Zoe and Brooklyn. A special thank you to George’s friend and caregiver Murry Griffin, and Snoopy the cat.

Memorial donations can be e-transferred to “For the Love of Ferals” loveofferals@outlook.com. A private service will be held for George in the coming days. A celebration of life will be held for George at a later date for those who would like to pay tribute to him and celebrate his life endeavors.
