Gerald Gordon Goebel

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Gerald Gordon Goebel.  Gerry passed peacefully on April 27,2024, while under the wonderful support and care of the staff on Smugglers Cove in Arbour Heights Care Home in Kingston.  Gerry is survived by his two children Gordon and Elizabeth.  He was predeceased by his loving wife Sylvia and was stepfather to her children Brydie, Wendy (deceased), Jamie and Robin, as well as grandfather to her 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Gerry retired from a wonderful career with IBM Canada and was a passionate barbershop quartet singer, who truly enjoyed all friendships with his fellow performers. Gerry will always be remembered as an extremely kind and thoughtful person, who was the true definition of a gentleman.  He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.  Rest in peace Gerry.
