SMITH, Glen Raymond: With grief and sadness we announce the passing of a devoted father and papa. Glen was predeceased by his lifetime partner Kathy of 39 years. He leaves behind daughter Stacey and son Anderson whom he loved unconditionally and two grandchildren Mayson and Adele who he was totally devoted to. He is also survived by brothers Wayne and Arnold, and sister Laura as well as many nephews.
Glen worked as a nurse at Kingston Psychiatric Hospital where he made many lifetime friendships. He had a heart for those that society toss away; the homeless, those with addictions and he daily lived his faith with action.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday July 22, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army Rideau Heights community church, 183 Weller Avenue in Kingston.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Salvation Army Rideau Heights Youth work would be appreciated.
