It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jane Donna Abrams of Harrowsmith Ontario at the age of 63 on December 28, 2024 at Kingston General Hospital with sister and nephew at her side.

Jane was born July 05, 1961 in Verona Ontario and it was there that she was raised and spent the happy childhood surrounded by friends and family

As a young women Jane moved to Brooks Alberta for several years where she worked at Bev’s shoes, before eventually returning to Ontario and operating her own shoe store, Sarah’s shoes in Verona which was named after her daughter.

More recently jane lived in Harrowsmith and resided with her sister Jill Curtis.

Jane leaves behind her children Sarah and Johnathan Mckenzie. Granddaughter Aliyah, sister Joan Tebo (Kevin), Jean Spahmann (Peter), Jill Curtis, Joye Bannab, Sister in law Karen Abrams, Brother in law Rick Murphy along with numinous nieces and nephews and extended family.

Jane is predeceased by father Donald, mother Gertrude, brother John, sister Judy Albertson Murphy and brother in laws Gerry Albertson, Dave Curtis, and Bob Bannab.

Jane will be forever missed as a mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and niece and friend.

Rest easy Jane, your legacy lives through all the lives you’ve touched

A celebration of life will be held at the residence on Saturday January 18th 1 pm to 4 pm at 5085 Road 38, Harrowsmith. Everyone is welcome.
