Mary Rae Woods

Suddenly at the age of 87, Mary Rae Woods peacefully passed away Sunday February 23, 2025 surrounded by her family. She is now in the loving arms of God. Mary Rae was a dedicated registered nurse for 45 years. Predeceased by husband of 60 years Brian, parents Ray Tanton and Marjorie Hunter. Mary Rae will be greatly missed by her children Alexander, Sarah-Jane, Martha (Stanley) and grandchildren Emma (Jacob), Gregory, Benjamin. A special thanks to the staff at Extendicare Limestone Ridge for all the wonderful care given. A Celebration of Life will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church Smiths Falls on Saturday March 22, 2025 at 1 P.M. Interment: People’s Cemetery, Summerside P.E.I.
