It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Retired Sargent Philip Howard Bishop, 78 yrs old, who passed away peacefully in his home in Harrowsmith, Ontario on June 22, 2021. Phil was a 25 year retired Veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces with the Fort Garry Horse and Lord Strathcona Horse Royal Canadians Regiments. Phil had a passion for soccer and coached teams competitively in Calgary, Alberta and Kingston, Ontario for many years. Phil is survived by his daughters Cindy (Al) and Deborah, grand-daughters Dominique (Aaron) and Kristian (Ethan) as well as his siblings Paul (Brenda), Mary (Joe), Ann and Ken (Karen) and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Philip and Anne, and his sister Joan (Bert). For those who wish donations may be made to Jumpstart Canada in memory of Phil.
