Ruth Green

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ruth Amelia Green (Nee Aylsworth) at the age of 90 on January 14, 2025, at Kingston General Hospital. Ruth is predeceased by her husband Wesley Green, her sons Darrell Green, and Dwight Green. As well as her grandson Andy Green. She was also predeceased by her brothers Jim Aylsworth, and Ken Aylsworth (Stephanie).

Ruth is survived by her children David (Sandra), Dayle (Carolyn), Dawn Gordon (Dale), Gaye Campbell, and daughter in laws Debbie and Leslie. Ruth will be missed by 13 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great Grandchild. She will be lovingly remembered by her surviving siblings Marie Finney (Vern), Stanly (Sheila), Jerry Green (Clifford), Gary (Michelle), Penny, Larry, Jenny Babcock (Rick) and sister-in-law Vera.

Ruth continued to work at her family business Green Superior Glass until very recently. She loved the repour she built with her customers. Many of whom Ruth considered friends. When Ruth wasn’t at work or spending time with her family, she loved to go on fishing trips with her husband Wes. They also loved quiet weekends at their cottage as often as they could. Ruth will be dearly missed, and her spirit will live on in the memories and hearts of all who knew her.

At Ruth’s Request there will be no service or visitation. A private family graveside service where she will be laid to rest with her husband will be held at a later date.
