It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, Verna Blanche Clark on December 31, 2020. Predeceased by her husband Reuben and son, Gerald. In her 102nd year she is survived by her daughters Joan and Barbara, son Norman and his wife Eleanor, three grandsons Robbie (Jan), Allen (Kim), Kurt (Emily) as well as seven great grandchildren, Ashley, Jordan, Chelsea, Lane, Lacey, Matthew and Chad. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Blanche was predeceased by her parents John & Maude Caird as well as seven brothers and two sisters. She was well known in the community for her delicious baked goods. Mom always enjoyed our family gatherings, cooking and gardening. Due to COVID, a private family graveside service has taken place at Sandhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Battersea United Church or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
