Peacefully at Helen Henderson Care Center in Amherstview, Ontario on Friday, July 3rd, 2026 surrounded by the love of her family at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Wendell Struthers. Loving mother of John (Brenda) of Westport and Steven (Vivian) of Kingston, and cherished grandmother of Sarah, Alex, Nicholas and Evan. Also loving sister of Bernice White. Predeceased by her parents Alexander Salisbury and Harriet (Nee Buckley), sisters Sophia Shepherd, Irene Rose and Evelyn Cloyd. She was loved by her in-laws late Verna Hornbeek (late George), late Jack Struthers (late Roberta), late Lorraine Embury (Sonny), late Don Struthers (late Elsie), late Gord Struthers (late Eileen), late Jim Struthers, late Sharon Allen (Sterling), late Margaret Thompson (late Reg), Wayne Struthers (Carolyn), Ronald Struthers (Bev) and Linda Ackerman (Finley). Wilma will be missed by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Until Wilma moved to Helen Henderson Care Center five years ago, she spent her entire life on the farm where she was born in Godfrey. She was devoted to the life of farming and the love of family. Family and friends will be received at the Trousdale Funeral Home in Sydenham, Ontario, on Saturday, July 11th at 10 am - 11 am. The funeral service will begin at 11 am followed by interment at Piccadilly Cemetery. The family would like to recognize the excellent care she received during her time at Helen Henderson Care Center. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
