Yvonne Boozan

July 29 1945 – July 20 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Yvonne Catherine Boozan, who left us peacefully on July 20 2024, days before her 79th birthday. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 57 years, Andrew, whose memory she cherished deeply.

Yvonne is survived by her devoted daughter, Dieneen, and her treasured grandchildren, Jake and Jessica and her bonus daughter Jenni.  She is also survived by her three beloved sisters Marilyn, Doreen and Darlene who were her lifelong companions and confidantes.

Known for her boundless energy and an insatiable love for new adventures, Yvonne lived life to its fullest. Whether she was exploring new places, trying new activities, or simply enjoying the company of family and friends, her zest for life was evident in everything she did. Her distinctive laugh, which could light up any room, will be fondly remembered by all who had the joy of hearing it.

Her legacy is one of love, joy, and an enduring spirit that inspired those around her. She was a pillar of strength and a beacon of light, always ready with a kind word, a helping hand, or a listening ear. Her family and friends will forever cherish the countless memories they shared with her, from the smallest moments of laughter to the grandest adventures.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the devoted nurses at St. Elizabeth's Health Care and the nurses and doctors at Kingston General Hospital for their compassionate care and support.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no funeral service. Those who wish to honor her memory are invited to make a donation to The Kingston General Hospital Cancer Unit, a place that was dear to her heart.

Yvonne leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and a spirit that will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be profoundly missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
